SCAITT: Scania G 410 LNG awarded "2019 Environmentally Friendly Industrial Vehicle" in Spain

Scania G 410 GNL truck with a 410 hp natural gas engine has been awarded the Best Environmentally Friendly Industrial Vehicle 2019 in Spain. 

This award is part of the National Transport Awards, organised by the Editec Group since 1988.

The Ecological Industrial Vehicle award, organised by Enditec, was awarded by a 32-member jury, which brings together almost a hundred businessmen, professionals from the goods and passenger transport sector, as well as an outstanding group of specialists in alternative energies.

As Sebastián Figueroa, Managing Director of Scania Ibérica, states, sustainability is one of the Group's priorities and this award demonstrates this.

This new 410 hp natural gas engine from SCANIA is delivering excellent results, offering a range of performance similar to that of a diesel engine, but adding many other advantages, such as excellent profitability and a significant reduction in CO2 emissions.

This engine, which was launched by the brand just over a year ago, is Scania's most powerful engine. Its maximum torque of 2000 Nm enables it to perform any long-distance transport efficiently and cost-effectively.

And in terms of range, Scania's 410CV engine does not fall short of the 1,100 km range with LNG (liquefied natural gas).

Of course, the reduction in CO2 emissions of up to 15% in natural gas and 90% in the case of biogas is remarkable. In addition, it has the ECO label that allows access to urban areas even when there are restrictions due to high pollution.

We can affirm that this new gas alternative is already a profitable and sustainable reality, which we can access with all the guarantees.
